Well, what a great evening we had last week – thank you to all our friends and family, clients, media, partners, suppliers and more who came and celebrated with us.
We’re delighted to be shortlisted in TWO categories at the CIPR PRide Awards this year. Vying for success in the South of England & Channel Islands region is rising star, Melissa Baker, a finalist in the Outstanding Young Communicator category whilst our new ‘Integrated Home’ podcast series has been shortlisted in the Best Use of Content category.
As we continue to celebrate our 25 years in business, we have taken the opportunity to formalise our Digital Marketing Services into a more structured division within the company. As a results-driven B2B PR agency, working across the EMEA region as well as in the US, much of our comms work encompasses digital platforms in addition to print and face-to-face ‘live’ channels. We are adept at matching and connecting the right channels to the audience, and developing content and messaging with Digital Marketing Services an integral part of that process.
Congratulations to Tom Hunt and Laura Gale (now Hunt!!) – who met at Wildwood six years ago – and who enjoyed a wonderful wedding this weekend. Even though they’ve both gone on to develop careers elsewhere, we still keep in touch and it is lovely to see their love flourish.
We are delighted to announce that Melissa Baker has been promoted to Account Manager at Wildwood PR.
Since starting Wildwood in 2017, Melissa has continued to grow and excel in her role. She joined Wildwood fresh from internships in fashion and art gallery PR and, over the last two years, has become an invaluable member of the AWE, CEDIA, Meridian, ISE and BIID teams.
Shereen Russell, Senior Account Director at Wildwood PR, comments, “I work closely with Melissa on a number of accounts and this promotion is recognition of the hard work and commitment she puts into everything she does, she is always willing to go the extra mile for clients. I am thrilled for her — it is truly deserved.”
“The Interior Design Business” is a new, business-focused podcast series set up to offer best practice guidance, engaging insights and expert advice for professional interior designers. Co-hosted by Susie Rumbold, a Past President of the British Institute of Interior Design and Principal of London-based design firm, Tessuto, and Jeff Hayward, Director at Wildwood PR, “The Interior Design Business” is a free-to-listen series with new episodes released every month.
Papergraphics, innovator in digitally printable wallcoverings for the commercial and residential interiors market, has appointed Wildwood to lead a new comms campaign that will promote its ground-breaking technology, applications expertise and the unrivalled fire safety performance of its range.
The Wildwood team had an extremely busy and eventful December with client events, Christmas parties and seasonal festivities all taking place in the run up to the Christmas holidays.
On Friday 30th November, more than 215 PR professionals gathered at Bristol’s Marriott Hotel for the CIPR South of England and Channel Islands PRide Awards – a celebration of the region’s annual public relations success stories. The Wildwood team was delighted to be there to celebrate with our colleagues in the industry, after being nominated for awards in two categories; Best Publication and Outstanding Young Communicator.
The Wildwood team has recently worked with media intelligence and social monitoring company Meltwater to develop a webinar on competitor benchmarking and its importance.
We were delighted to be asked to present a webinar by the Meltwater team as it gave us the opportunity to explain the benefits of monitoring and analysing competitor data. Within the webinar we provided a brief introduction into competitive intelligence, outlined why it is important and more importantly how it can be done.
