It is February – a month when for the last 15 or so years, various members of the team at Wildwood would normally be found either pounding the halls at ISE or taking a well-earned break in the ISE Press Office. We would be arranging interviews on booths, prepping for press launches, hustling to get a ticket for CresFest, queuing for the post-show buses or rushing to get to the chemist for copious supplies of plasters – it was always a week of many steps (26,500 in one day was my record) and lots and lots of networking. #ISE2021
Tips for Effective Communication
We are living in an uncertain world. No one knows what is going on in the short- or long-term future, but as lockdown restrictions start to ease, Lorraine Nugent of Wildwood PR gives us her top tips for effective communication.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2020 is #EachforEqual – an equal world is an enabled world.
Congratulations to Tom Hunt and Laura Gale (now Hunt!!) – who met at Wildwood six years ago – and who enjoyed a wonderful wedding this weekend. Even though they’ve both gone on to develop careers elsewhere, we still keep in touch and it is lovely to see their love flourish.
As you may have heard, the UK voted to leave the EU…
Every commentator from here to Brussels has speculated on what our relationship with the EU will look like when we leave, the impact on the UK economy of leaving, and whether the Leave campaign will be able to keep all of its promises. The long, uncertain road to the UK’s withdrawal from the EU begins.
Happy New Year! Now Christmas is over and 2017 seems like a distant memory, the Wildwood team is looking forward to an exciting 2018, packed full of events….
First up is Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). Taking place from 7-10 Feb 2017 at the RAI, Amsterdam, ISE is the largest AV and systems integration show in the world. This bustling event combines a packed education programme with 11 Halls of exhibitors across the lighting, AV and controls markets. The Wildwood team will be out there in force as, not only are we the PR agency for the show, we also have 10 clients exhibiting. It will be a full-on week of editor meetings, events and networking. If you’re visiting the show, make sure you pop by the press office and say hi (and maybe bring a coffee if the week is drawing to a close!)
