Football’s Home with Euronics

Last Sunday, I was lucky enough to attend a piece of history – the lionesses at Wembley Stadium, playing in the UEFA Women’s Euro Final against Germany. England has never won a cup in this tournament before, yet alone bring home a major trophy since 1966. Was it looking likely? YES! The Women’s England team had played remarkably throughout the tournament winning all of their matches and only conceding one goal. The drive to win, to bring it home for their country was strong.

Tackling Mental Ill Health

At least half a million more people in the UK may experience mental ill health as a result of Covid-19, says a forecast from The Centre for Mental Health. Nationally, in England, the organisation predicts that up to 10 million people (almost 20% of the population) will need either new or additional mental health support as a direct consequence of the crisis.

Every one of us has had a unique experience throughout this pandemic and each business is going to have a unique journey back.

A Press Conference with a Twist

In recent months we have seen the cancellation of many exhibitions and events, an unfortunate but understandable consequence of COVID-19. However, this has not stopped us from planning and executing conferences and get-togethers. We are now taking our plans digital. So, how do you attract people to attend your digital events? For our latest press launch we went with cocktails…… well, not just cocktails, the strong message and newsworthy content we had to share was vital but cocktail hour didn’t hurt either.

Reaping the Benefits of a Work Placement

I began my placement year with Wildwood in 2018, and thus far, it has probably been the most memorable and invaluable experience that I’ve had in my four years of university. Taking on a year-long work placement was optional, but I chose this route because university is so much more than just a degree. It’s very important for you to be able to stand out from the crowd and offer future employers more than other candidates have to offer and doing a work placement provides this differentiator. This has already proven to be true in the job applications that I’ve started.
