Established in 1965, the BIID is the UK’s only professional institute for interior designers. The Institute sets national professional standards, promotes learning and debate, and champions the value of interior design on the national and international stage. The BIID’s growing membership represents both the commercial and residential sectors. In addition to rigorous entry requirements which assess training, experience and professionalism, the Institute requires members to continue their professional development throughout their career, ensuring their continued expertise in design process, practice and regulatory matters.
Wildwood’s brief is to raise awareness of the BIID and drive awareness of the benefits of being a BIID member. We help promote their commitment to professionalism and excellence in interior design and work in collaboration with BIID members to help build their profile and position the BIID as the leading professional institute for interior designers.
Our campaigns for the BIID include launching the inaugural BIID Interior Design Awards. This new and unique awards programme celebrates the very best of British interior design across the UK. The accolades were awarded at a prestigious awards ceremony in front of an audience of design industry professionals, at the magnificent Drapers Hall in London.
